Recently, a delegation representing the Rotary Club of CuraƧao traveled to Trinidad to participate in the annual Conference of District 7030āa Rotary District uniting clubs from 17 Caribbean countries. This vibrant event serves as a unique platform to share impactful projects, exchange fresh ideas, and forge regional partnerships that contribute to meaningful change in our communities.
Throughout the multi-day conference, clubs showcased their successes and strategies, creating a dynamic environment of collaboration and inspiration. CuraƧao proudly presented its Health Academy project, a flagship initiative focused on promoting community wellness through education, early intervention, and long-term support. The presentation sparked interest among other clubs and opened the door for potential future collaborations across the region.
Beyond the conference, the CuraƧao delegation had the honor of meeting with Mr. Cor Hersbach, the Dutch Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Trinidad. This special meeting, also attended by a representative from the Rotary Club of Port of Spain, allowed for a meaningful exchange about the role of Rotary in regional development and cross-border collaboration.
Moments like these remind us that Rotary is not just about local serviceāitās about building a better world together. CuraƧaoās continued presence and participation in District 7030 ensures that our island remains an active contributor and connector within the Caribbean Rotary community.
